Christmas Party!

Boys sitting on Santa's Lap. As you can see
Tyson did not appreciate this, but we know he
has been a good boy this year.

Kaleb telling Santa he wants trains for Christmas,
big suprise.

I am on the activities committee at Church so
we are in charge of all the activities for our church
throughout the year and the theme for our
Christmas Party this year was Who-Ville. So much
fun. My job this year was decorations, with a lot
of help from Mary, Harmony, and Melissa we were
able to transform the gym. Here are a couple of picks.
I don't think they do it Justice. Thanks to all the people
on the committee and friends that were willing to help
the party was a huge success and so much fun.

Beautiful 50 ft mural of Who-ville done by
Aubrey Scott. This is just a small section.

We wrapped over a 100 boxes for centerpieces
for this party, needless to say I am better at
wrapping gifts. Kaleb is just excited to finally
see some presents under our tree at home.

Alm's family. So cute and made the party a
success with their costumes. My boys and many
other children loved seeing the Grinch as much
as Santa.

Weekend in Kentucky

We made a spontaneous decision on the friday after Thanksgiving to go out of town and took
off for Louisville Kentucky. It was a fun trip we were able to go to the Louisville Slugger Museum and Churchill Downs were we saw a horse race. Kaleb actually picked the winner. We also went
to Lexington to visit the University of Kentucky since it is one of the schools Erich is considering
for Law School. It was nice and so beautiful to drive through all the horse farms. Rolling hills with white fences and horses running in the field. Beautiful. It was a fun busy weekend and we were
all worn out when we go back. The monday morning after we got back Tyson actually slept from
7pm to 10am. I have never had a child sleep that long, so I guess he had a exhausting weekend.
So fun!

A Day in the Life!

Rivermen Game!

I had entered to win Rivermen tickets for this past weekend
and was so excited to find out that I had won. I never win
anything. I had entered because Kellan Lutz from Twilight
was suppose to be coming, but he cancelled so another cast
member came. It was just as fun to get a picture with him
and now Kellan Lutz is supposed to come later in the season
and I can use my tickets to see him so I got a 2 for 1.

Before the Rivermen game meeting Chaske Spencer from
the movie New Moon. He plays the character Sam Uley. I
was so excited to get his autograph and picture with him.
Erich thought I was so silly, but waited in line with me
anyway. Yes I am in love with the Twilight books and can't
wait for the new movie in November.

Kaleb being silly. He has learned how to cross his eyes and
I must admit it is HILARIOUS. With his big brown eyes it
is so cute. He makes me laugh hysterically when he does
it and now that I got it on camera he always wants to see
the picture and he starts laughing, too. He thinks he is so
funny.

Erich and Tyson watching the game. The game started at
Tyson's bed time so we had a trooper on our hands.

GO RIVERMEN!

Pumpkin Patch!

Our family ventured out to Tanners to the pumpkin patch
to select the perfect pumpkin. Kaleb had already had a
pumpkin hunt at school, but we wanted to get one more
for the family. Kaleb kept saying "the pumpkins are stuck
on a vine and Halloween's just hours away." If you have
ever read the Halloween story called "The Big Pumpkin"
you know that is the problem for the witch, mummy,
vampire and bat. But of course in the end we found a
great pumpkin and were able to pull it off the vine.

Still looking.

Our Pumpkin.

We found it.

The perfect pumpkin. (According to the Ekenstam Family)

Wedding

Erich and I were able to attend my friend Nicole's wedding
this past weekend in Chicago. It was a beautiful event and
I am greatful that we were able to spend this special time
with her and her new husband Bobby. It was also nice to
see lots of old friends and spend time with them.

WCHS CLASS OF 1999!

TEN Year High School Reunion! So fun to see so many people
that I haven't seen in so long. Friday night was a BBQ and
football game, then Saturday was the reunion at Grasie's
in Washington. Such a fun night and we all came to the
conclusion that most people looked better then they did in
high school. I didn't have a hard time recognizing anyone, but
then again this was just my 10 year we will see at the 20 year
reunion.

My Girlfriends from High School. The only one that couldn't
make it was Nicole because she is getting ready for her
wedding this upcoming weekend.
