Visit the Newsroom to read the Church’s (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) official statement on an upcoming episode of HBO’s Big Love that is said to depict temple ceremonies. If you would like to learn more, watch the video by clicking the title of the post.

The temple is something that is extremely important to me and my family. We cherish the blessings that we may obtain by attending the temple and feeling the peace that comes from God when in the walls of the temple.

Spring Day!

It was a beautiful spring day in Peoria today. 70 degrees and sunny. We started off the day at playgroup with all Kaleb's friends and then Erich was done with school so went to the Rock Island Trail and Erich Ran a couple of miles while I pushed Kaleb in the stroller and had Tyson in the snugli. We then went home and ate lunch and decided to let Kaleb sleep in the car on the way to Bloomington. We didn't want to stay inside for 2-3 hours while Kaleb napped. Well once we got to Bloomington(only 50 min drive) we went to the miller park zoo. It was fun for Kaleb to see all the animals and a good size for him. He could walk all around since it is pretty small. We were just in time to watch the Sea lions get fed so we saw them do lots of cool tricks. The animals were all pretty active. I think it was because of the beautiful weather. We walked through a section of the zoo that is the Rain forest and Kaleb loved seeing all the bright colored birds. When we walked by the Tiger he was Roaring. So a good day at the zoo and Kaleb keeps asking to go back to the Rain Forrest. After the Zoo right out side they had a huge playground with lots of slides that is a little water park in the summer but just any normal park right now so Kaleb went down the huge slides. I was suprised he did since they were so big but he was loving them. Then finally there was a train. You couldn't get on it it was fenced in but Kaleb just loved walking around it over and over taking pictures. Then we made the trip home. Tyson slept most of the trip and only had to eat once so that was a success. He was ready to get out of the car seat and play when we got home. Here are just a couple of pics and a short video. Enjoy!
