Quinta de Pais

The Bed and Breakfast that we stayed in was MAGNIFICENT! A Chalet on a vineyard with beautiful views of the surroundings and wonderful owners that were personable and friendly. We were very happy with our experience so much that this Chalet alone makes me want to go back to Portugal again soon in the summer when it is lush and green.

This was the cottage the six of us stayed in and enjoyed.

The Main House.

We ate each morning at the Chalet and was presented with an abundant and delicious breakfast that was prepared by Antonio and his wife (the owners), When we arrived in the morning all of this was laid out for us and beautifully presented. We were extremely overwhelmed, but delighted.

There were orange trees all over Portugal, but we were surprised to see them on the trees in December, but Antonio told us that "they were natures gift to us" since they are picked in January and February. Who would have thought they would survive through the cold weather.
Beautiful view one morning when we woke up with the clouds across the mountain tops and the chapel.
